New Licensed Aesthetician – Clinical Practice Role

Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Status:
Part-Time (1–2 days/week to start) | Employee Position (Not Rental)

About The Skin Clinique

The Skin Clinique is a clinical–luxury skincare studio specializing in corrective treatments, advanced facials, acne management, chemical peels, permanent makeup, and results-driven skin health. With over 30 years of clinical experience, we operate with a high level of structure, protocol, and accountability.

We are a systematized, team-based clinic — not a booth rental environment — and we are selective about the aestheticians we bring on.

This Role Is For You If…

You are a licensed aesthetician with solid foundational skills who is ready to work in a clinical environment where:

  • Treatment protocols matter
  • Skin analysis is critical
  • Documentation and follow-through are expected
  • Client outcomes come before ego
  • Learning is fast-paced and accountability is high

This is not an entry-level training position and not a place to “get your foot in the door.”

Role Focus

This position is designed for an aesthetician who already has:

  • Confidence in the treatment room
  • Comfort working independently with clients
  • A working understanding of skin physiology and contraindications
  • The ability to follow and execute written protocols accurately

You will be supported by clinic systems, marketing, and leadership — but you are expected to bring skill, maturity, and initiative to the table.

Core Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced and corrective facial treatments according to clinic protocols
  • Conduct thorough skin analyses and make appropriate treatment recommendations
  • Create and explain treatment plans and homecare regimens
  • Rebook clients and support long-term skin health plans
  • Maintain accurate client documentation and SOAP notes
  • Uphold clinic standards for professionalism, cleanliness, and client experience
  • Collaborate with front desk and operations to support clinic flow

Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

  • Active California aesthetician license
  • Demonstrated competence in facial treatments and skin analysis
  • Ability to work confidently without constant supervision
  • Strong communication skills with clients
  • Professional maturity and reliability
  • Willingness to follow established protocols and systems

This role is not a fit for recent graduates, aestheticians working only on friends/family, or providers whose experience has been limited to single-service environments (such as waxing-only roles).

What This Role Is Not

  • Not a rental or booth situation
  • Not a place to build skills from scratch
  • Not a guaranteed full schedule immediately
  • Not a shortcut to advanced education without foundational competence

Growth & Advanced Training

Advanced education (including Cosmedix product knowledge, corrective protocols, and layered treatment strategies) is earned, not automatic.

Advanced education is offered independently and is not provided free of charge, subsidized, or included as part of employment consideration.

Opportunities for advanced training are extended to aestheticians who demonstrate:

  • Strong retention and rebooking
  • Clinical judgment and consistency
  • Accountability and follow-through
  • Alignment with clinic standards

Schedule & Demand

  • Initial schedule is 1–2 days per week based on client demand
  • Additional days are added only as demand is proven
  • Saturdays and peak shifts are earned through demonstrated booking strength

Who Thrives Here

This role is best suited for aestheticians who:

  • Have invested in advanced education beyond basic licensure (courses, certifications, corrective training)
  • Bring real-world treatment experience and clinical judgment
  • May be transitioning out of their own busy practice or rental environment and prefer a structured team-based clinic
  • Want to work 1–2 days per week while continuing to serve a mix of their loyal clients and The Skin Clinique clientele
  • Value systems, protocols, and shared standards over working in isolation

Clinic Revenue & Client Experience Lead

Santa Rosa, CA
Part-Time (15–20 Hours Weekly)
Weekday Position | In-Clinic Primary

About The Skin Clinique

The Skin Clinique is a results-driven, clinical-luxury skincare studio in Sonoma County with over 32 years of advanced treatment expertise. Our focus blends corrective skincare, advanced treatment protocols, and elevated client experience.

We are entering a focused scaling phase — optimizing capacity, strengthening booking consistency, and building the clinical team’s books within our existing footprint.

We are not expanding in size. We are increasing precision and density.

The Role

This position strengthens in-clinic conversion, reinforces booking consistency, supports membership and package growth, and maintains operational execution as the clinic scales.

This is not a receptionist role and not a traditional operations manager position.

This is a revenue-supportive, client-facing leadership role that blends client experience, marketing execution, and operational consistency.

Growth & Scaling Focus

We are actively ramping up marketing and demand generation with the goal of increasing booking density and building consistent clinical demand across weekdays.

This role plays a direct part in that scaling effort — particularly in new client conversion, membership growth, and schedule optimization.

Core Responsibilities

Client Conversion & Revenue Support

• Reinforce treatment plans at checkout
• Support membership and package enrollment
• Maintain booking consistency
• Encourage Google review participation
• Reinforce retail recommendations (non-clinical)
• Capture walk-in interest
• Guide prospective callers into appropriate service categories

Licensed clinical staff determine final treatment decisions. This role supports correct booking pathways and reinforces value at point-of-sale.

Front Desk & Client Experience

• Manage check-in and check-out flow
• Guide new clients through intake and clinic process
• Offer elevated hospitality
• Confirm electronic forms completion
• Answer phones
• Monitor Messenger AI and inbound messages
• Flag urgent matters to ownership

In-clinic presence during active booking windows is essential.

Operational Execution

• Maintain visual retail presentation
• Prepare vendor orders for approval
• Conduct monthly retail inventory per SOP
• Complete quarterly inventory reconciliation
• Prepare birthday outreach for members
• Rotate retail displays and seasonal décor
• Retrieve mail and process routine payments
• Monitor supply tracking systems

Back bar tracking remains the responsibility of the clinical team.

Marketing Execution & Contribution

The clinic operates from a structured annual marketing calendar.

Responsibilities include:

• Create and publish AI-assisted blog content (1x per week)
• Format and post blogs to the website
• Post to Google Business and Meta per calendar
• Review monthly email prior to auto-send
• Execute pre-planned text campaigns
• Contribute ideas to improve demand and conversion

This role does not include bookkeeping, paid ad management, or independent budget authority.

Schedule Structure

Approximately 15–20 hours per week.

Weekday position. No weekend requirement.

Schedule aligns with booking density and revenue-support needs. As demand increases, hours may expand accordingly.

Who This Role Is For

This position is ideal for professionals with backgrounds in:

• Hospitality leadership
• Direct-to-consumer sales
• Client experience management
• Revenue-focused front-of-house roles
• Marketing execution within structured systems
• CRM-driven environments

If you enjoy optimizing booking flow, strengthening client loyalty, and contributing to measurable revenue growth — this role may align strongly with your strengths.

Important Clarification

This is not a pathway into the treatment room. We are not hiring aspiring aestheticians, students considering aesthetic school, or licensed professionals seeking clinical exposure. This is a non-clinical leadership role focused on revenue, client experience, and operational execution. Candidates seeking hands-on treatment opportunities should not apply.

How to Apply

Please submit your resume and a brief cover note explaining:

  • Your experience with client conversion or revenue support
  • Your familiarity with marketing execution or CRM tools
  • Why this role aligns with your next professional chapter
