Jody Harm has been a licensed Medical Aesthetician for eighteen years. Five of those most recent years were spent working in a dermatology practice in Petaluma, CA, addressing the more complex skin disorders generally not seen in spa environments.
She has garnered training and experience from the most respected leaders and training facilities in the United States, including the International Dermal Institute, where she earned her masters diploma and worked in their concept spa, Leonard Drake, for four years. Jody worked with the well renowned Dr. Howard Murad, shadowing him in his medical practice as well as working in his wellness spa for five years. During her career in Los Angeles, she gained invaluable experience treating top entertainers in the film and television industry.
Jody was one of the first students in the United States to receive medical training and certification in Dermatologic Skin Care through the prestigious Rayner Institute located in San Francisco and Washington, D.C. Her cerified educational units in nursing and post-secondary vocational rehabilitation are registered with the State Board of Education in Sacramento.
She is a published author on medical skin care and aesthetics and has served as an Advisory Board member to one of the most respected trade journals in the professional skin care industry, Les Nouvelle Esthetiques. She belongs to several associations related to her industry, trains continuously to offer the most technologically advanced treatments, and possesses a passion and commitment rarely seen in her field.
